TRACK 1 - WALKING THROUGH
This track is actually a beat and melody that I had been jamming all over the place in India, from schoolyards to courtyards, family gatherings to beach parties and had a lot of people singing the chorus. The vision I have for this song is simply to function as an album intro track. I foresee the beginning rising up instrumentally and exloding into the Reggae-esque beat and carrying right into the bouncy, vocal dancing track. You know, out here in India, things change so rapidly that you must be in a state of acceptance and surrender at all times because you never know what will be thrown at you. WALKING THOUGH gives that sense of ease and strength in the choas and stress of an ever-changing world! On the album, I am wishing to extend the end into a nice fingerpicking rythm that will carry into the next song. I find the song catchy, cute and fun as hell. Some parts of the take I love dearly and others will change. You tell me what you like. One thing is that I can imagine it jammed out quite nicely at shows!! Enjoy.
